What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

Presenting my products and a Media showcase in my school as giving me fantastic feedback on what I've done and what I could improve on.

I will start off with the things that the audience think that I've done well. A vast majority of my feedback commented on how I had created a fast tempo by using "short and snappy" shots in my trailer which conform to the conventions of an action film trailer. I was also complimented on the song choice which helped keep the tempo at a fast pace when there was maybe a slower and longer shot on show.

I was also given positive criticism over the timing of the audio in the trailer. Some people commented saying that music wasn't quiet enough when there was dialogue from the actors. Also, the music may have fadedout too early/late in some scenes, consequently there was either parts with no sound at all or there was dialogue cut off.

One person commented on how well the plot could be recieved by the audience. They said that it was easy and clear to understand. But, the vast majority of people stated that the plot wasn't clear enough. Some of them said that the trailer was just a string of action scenes stuck together with nop plot. So if I were to remake it, I would try and make the plot as clear as I can.

There was also positive feedback towards the idea of the film and the theme. They liked the idea of how the theme of terrorism is a current issue in our day and age. Ecpecially as my film is based on London 7/7 bombings which happened in 2005. This was said to have made my film more realistic.
